YWCA BC is seeking a Survivors of Violence (SOV) Case Manager in Richmond, BC. The role involves delivering case management services within a multi-agency team, connecting job seekers with employment training and holistic supports, with a focus on survivors of violence and vulnerable populations.

The position requires experience in case management, trauma-informed practice, and strong communication skills. The role offers temporary full-time hours (35/week) until March 31, 2027, located in

Qualifications

• Experience working with women, particularly survivors of violence.
• Case management and/or employment counselling experience.
• Experience working in performance-based employment programming.
• Experience administering assessment tools with clients.
• Trauma-informed knowledge and understanding of its impacts on employment.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma or a combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an organized and current client caseload and follow up.
• Assess client needs and develop individualized action plans.
• Connect clients to employment programming and community resources.
• Identify needs for formal assessments (vocational, psychological, etc.).
• Administer Client Needs Assessments and related tools.
• Support clients in accessing training and funding.
• Document progress and maintain file consistency.
