Job summary

YWCA BC is seeking a Case Manager to work with job seekers at the WorkBC Centre. You will assess needs, develop Employment Action Plans, and connect clients with interventions like skills training and wage subsidies.

You will monitor progress and maintain accurate records in the ICM system while collaborating with a multi-agency team. The role requires at least 2 years in employment counselling, a bachelor’s or related certificate, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of employment counselling experience.
• Bachelor's degree or career counselling certificate, or relevant mix of work/experience.
• Familiarity with the Integrated Case Management Database and WorkBC policy guidelines is a strong asset.
• Fluent English speaking and writing; second language is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients, develop and monitor Return to Work Action Plans.
• Refer clients to WorkBC interventions and coordinate with workshops and training.
• Monitor progress, report milestones in the ICM database and ensure file accuracy.
• Market programs in local catchment communities and liaise with partner agencies.
• Adhere to Health and Safety procedures and government compliance.
