Job summary

Family Services of Greater Vancouver (FSGV) is seeking a Victim Support Worker for the Sex Crimes Unit in Vancouver, BC. You will work with a team including detectives, supporting clients who have experienced sexual violence and guiding them through the justice process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level social work degree or equivalent.
• Minimum two years supporting and advocating for sexual violence survivors.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Support clients who have experienced sexual violence and may interact with the justice system.
• Assist in recovery, safety planning, and navigating the justice process.
• Coordinate with Sex Crimes Unit and partners to support victims.
