Alstom in Toronto seeks a First-Line Supervisor, Train Operations to lead Train Operators and ensure safe, efficient operations across the Metrolinx system, delivering exceptional customer service. You will coordinate with maintenance teams and respond to operational challenges to maintain on-time service.

The role requires leadership, coaching, and strong English communication. You will manage shifts, uphold safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement within a dynamic rail

Qualifications

Minimum five years in rail roles such as Locomotive Engineer or Conductor.
Experience as Railway Supervisor or Trainmaster preferred.
CROR certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

Supervise Train Operators to ensure safe operation and quality service.
Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Investigate incidents and provide training and coaching.
Coordinate with Metrolinx and host railway officers to ensure daily performance.
Respond to accidents and disruptions, coordinating maintenance.
Liaise with Transportation Safety Board and Transport Canada inspectors.
Contribute to Safety Management System development.
