Northern College is seeking a Shop Technician to support motive power, millwright, welding, and apprenticeship programs. You will coordinate daily lab/shop operations, assist instructors, and provide technical guidance for equipment, tools, and demonstrations in a collaborative setting.

Reporting to the Dean, Mining, Trades, Technology, and Apprenticeship, the Shop Technician will provide assistance to instructors in coordinating day-to-day operations.

Coordinate day-to-day operations of Trades laboratories and shop facilities supporting motive power, millwright, welding, and apprenticeship programs;

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as a team, have clear verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills and time-management skill.
