Northern College of Applied Arts and Technology in Timmins is seeking a part-time Shop Technician to assist instructors and coordinate day-to-day operations of Trades laboratories and shop facilities.
You will provide technical support for heavy equipment and tooling, prepare materials, equipment, and training aids, and help ensure a safe, functional learning environment. Starting wage is CAD 35.43 per hour, 0–24 hours per week, with opportunities for growth.

Reporting to the Dean, Mining, Trades, Technology, and Apprenticeship, the Shop Technician will provide assistance to instructors in coordinating day-to‑day operations.

Coordinate day-to‑day operations of Trades laboratories and shop facilities supporting motive power, millwright, welding, and apprenticeship programs;
