About The Position

Turning Point Brands Canada is seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our expanding team for the province of Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing sales within an assigned territory, building strong relationships with clients, and ensuring the effective execution of our sales and marketing strategies. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about contributing to the growth of our company.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and reach out to potential leads by email, phone, and in-person.
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts by understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, distributors, and other partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients within the territory, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a communication link between customers and internal departments.
  • Enter new customer information, orders, and return orders in the fulfillment system.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
  • Conduct customer surveys and provide feedback to the management team for consideration in procurement, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare and share regular sales recaps and action plans.
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members, operations, and marketing to achieve business goals.

Qualifications:

Experience -

  • Proven experience in a sales or business development role, preferably within heavily regulated industries such as cannabis, tobacco, or vaping.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities -

  • Strong understanding of trade marketing, distribution, brand management, and pricing strategy.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving industry environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
