Desjardins is seeking a property management, build-out and safety technician in Montreal for a 12-month temporary position. The role focuses on fire prevention, building safety, and process improvement, with responsibilities spanning technical support, rollout planning, and user training.

You will develop technical notes, ensure alignment with unit standards, and serve as a resource for solutions and action plans. Bilingual capabilities enhance collaboration with partners and clients.

Qualifications

• College diploma in a related field required.
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of French is required.
• Intermediate knowledge of English due to duties or work tools or interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients.

You serve as technical expert and provide discipline-specific support for your unit’s activities, initiatives and processes. The ability to tailor your approach as needed is therefore essential. You research and analyze processes, information management and data processing. You draw on your sound decision-making skills to solve technically complex problems and recommend ways to change or adjust methods and procedures to make them as effective and efficient as possible. More specifically, you will be required to:

• Provide technical support for projects and simple and complex operational issues
• Plan and coordinate the rollout and maintenance of software and manual and automated processes. Train users
• Prepare technical notes to enhance the skills and knowledge of users and their teams
