Job summary

LGM Canada, a subsidiary of the LGM Group, seeks a Technical Writer with S1000D expertise to create and update documentation for major industrial projects in Canada. You will translate complex technical content into clear, concise material, and work with SMEs to ensure accuracy and compliance with templates and style guides.

Based in Montreal with operations in Toronto, the role requires strong writing, organizational, and project-management skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a technical writer.
• Proficiency in the S1000D standard.
• Proficiency in Arbortext, FrameMaker, and XML.
• Knowledge of S1000D manual publishing tools (an asset).
• Ability to write clear, concise, and simple text to explain complex concepts.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and priority-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather and validate information from subject matter experts to translate complex concepts into accessible documentation.
