Job summary

Tundra Process Solutions is seeking a Lead Valve Technician for our Fort St John branch to field-service ball and gate valves and perform repairs across on-site and remote sites. You will troubleshoot and support customers, working independently or with the team to solve complex valve challenges.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of Oil & Gas industry experience.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Pressure testing experience is preferred.
• Valid forklift operations ticket.
• Experience and training in hoisting and rigging.
• Small crane certificate is an asset.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving abstract.
• Must be local to Fort St John or willing to relocate.

The Role

• Field servicing of Ball and Gate Valves
• Repairs and inspections of Choke and Control Valves
• On-site and over the phone/email troubleshooting for clients
• Repair of ESD Valves and Components

• Forklift Operations

The Candidate

• At least 2+ years of industry experience in the Oil and Gas Sector
• Able to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Experience in pressure testing is preferred
• Valid Forklift Operations Ticket
• Experience and training in both Hoisting and Rigging
• Small Crane Certificate is an asset
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract
• Must be local to the Fort St John area or willing to relocate

Compensation:

$33-43 per hour. Pay may vary based on skills, expertise, and performance, and is a component of the total rewards package.
