Job summary

Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) seeks a Team Leader (ESSOExpressmart) to deliver retail services to CAF members and their families. You will handle customer concerns, supervise staff, and manage POS operations while ensuring service excellence.

The role requires leadership, cash handling experience, and the ability to work on-site with a civilian-clerk environment. French essential, with strong teamwork and adaptability.

The Role

As a Team Leader(ESSOExpressmart), you provide retail services to a unique client base - members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and in assisting them, you are helping your community. You deal with customer concerns or complaints to ensure customer satisfaction and authorize refunds, voids, and returns. You hold keys, safe combinations, and access codes, and open and close the store as required. You supervise employees.

The Team Leader(ESSOExpressmart) may also provide a variety of other retail services, including: regular retail services, dry cleaning, lottery services, self‑serve gas services, and postal services. You will operate Point of Sales systems, the debit/credit machine, and maintain a float. You may take and prepare food and beverage orders and prepare takeout food, while ensuring cleanliness of food service and eating areas.

This is an on‑site position with an assigned work location.
