Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking a Store Supervisor to lead and inspire associates, delivering exceptional customer service and driving top-line sales. In this role you will partner with store management, operations teams and external partners to meet business needs and grow talent within the team.

You will oversee staffing, performance management and daily operations, ensuring strong merchandising, inventory control and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience as a supervisor / leading teams
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire associates to build relationships with customers, associates and peers to provide exceptional service and drive sales
• Ensure department staffing levels meet business needs
• Manage associate performance through development, communication, rewards and recognition, and ongoing feedback
• Review sales and reports with the assistant manager to improve inventory, overhead organization and cross-merchandising
• Maintain 100% in-stock and overhead organizational plans
• Investigate, resolve and escalate customer issues as appropriate
• Communicate store sales, events and promotions via rallies and weekly meetings
• Ensure safety and Asset Protection standards are clearly communicated and followed
