Job summary

Staples Canada is seeking a Retail Operations Supervisor to drive sales and operational excellence across the store. You will lead by example, deliver engaging customer service, and uphold brand standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will oversee inventory, merchandising, promotions, backroom tasks, and weekly cash office reporting. As a keyholder, you will train, coach, and support teams to achieve high performance and a customer-focused culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in retail.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritization and multitasking.
• Strong visual merchandising skills.

Responsibilities

• Model and coach selling behaviors, engage customers, and motivate associates.
• Oversee inventory and merchandising standards; ensure store is customer-ready daily.
• Support training, development, and coaching for high-performance culture.
• Facilitate clear communication; lead meetings and address issues promptly.
• Support health and safety policies; conduct inspections and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform front office duties including weekly cash office administration and reporting.
