The Team
The Smithers Child Safety Team is a collaborative and dedicated group committed to supporting the safety, well-being, and long-term success of children, youth, and families. The team consists of one Team leader, five Child Safety workers, two team assistance and one outreach worker who work closely together to deliver responsive, client-centered services throughout the community.
Working in partnership with Indigenous communities, caregivers, service providers, schools, health professionals, and community organizations, the team is committed to building strong relationships, promoting culturally safe practices, and supporting positive outcomes for children, youth, and families.Through strong teamwork, effective communication, and a commitment to service excellence, the team supports the delivery of programs and services that benefit children, youth, and families in the community.

About this Position:
There is one (1) full time permanent position available.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home up to two (2) days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
