Job summary

Hello Nori, a hand roll bar with locations across Canada, seeks a Hand Roll & Sushi Crew Member to work at the counter in Toronto. You will roll, plate, and engage with guests as part of the experience, not just the kitchen work.

No kitchen experience is required, and we provide training from day one. This role offers growth from Crew Member toward more advanced techniques, plus a free staff meal each shift and a pathway to higher roles as you learn the craft.

Qualifications

• Hands-on food prep and sushi basics
• Able to chat with guests and deliver friendly service
• Interest in learning Japanese ingredients and techniques

Responsibilities

• Prep and roll core menu items to Hello Nori's standards
• Work the counter in full view of guests, chat with them, and represent the Hello Nori experience
• Learn knife skills, rice work, and Japanese ingredient knowledge from experienced chefs
• Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized
• Follow food, health, and safety standards
