Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma and interest in geomatics.
• Post-secondary geomatics education is an asset.
• Familiarity with surveying crew work.
• Experience in outdoor bush conditions and industrial construction sites.
• Certification in First Aid, H2S, CSTS, or equivalent.
• Valid Class 5 driver\'s license.
• Ability to provide a passing drug and alcohol test result upon request.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with riding ATVs and snowmobiles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surveying oilfield and construction sites in Western Canada.
• Willing and able to travel as shift work may last up to 21 days.
• Take direction and instruction from the Crew Chief.
• Maintain a safe work environment and awareness of safety issues.
• Perform survey-related tasks such as use and maintenance of GPS equipment, ongoing data collection, and other duties as directed by the Crew Chief.
• Build a team environment through high-quality communication with trades, staff, and clients.

The Work:

• Assist with the work of surveying oilfield and construction sites in Western Canada.

• Perform a variety of survey-related tasks such as use and/or maintenance of GPS equipment, ongoing survey data collection, and other duties as directed by the Crew Chief.

What you bring to the table:

• A High School Diploma, and an interest in the Geomatics industry.
