Founded in 1966, Meridian Surveys is a leading survey company serving the resource, pipeline, construction, and municipal sectors with offices throughout Western Canada.

What Youll Do

• Direct work to the survey assistant with direction from the project manager
• Work outdoors in bush, construction, and remote environments
• Operate ATVs and assist with field operations
• Use tools such as sledges and shovels for monument placement
• Maintain survey equipment, tools, and vehicles
• Follow company safety procedures and protocols
• Potential for travel

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence
• Strong work ethic and positive attitudeComfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Willingness to travel and work away from home for extended periods
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Geomatics and surveying education
• Previous survey experience and running a crew

Assets (Not Required)

• ATV or snowmobile experience
• First Aid, H2S, or CSTS certifications

Important Information

Long days and occasional weekend work. Physical outdoor work in varying terrain and weather conditions. Drug and alcohol testing is required.
