Job summary

20/20 Geomatics is seeking a survey support professional for a 3-month contract with potential progression to full-time. The role involves assisting with field surveys, preparing survey plans, and operating equipment across Saskatchewan.

Strong planning, communication, and teamwork are required, along with a valid driver’s license and proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, and industry tools. The position offers flexibility in location and potential career growth.

Qualifications

  • Surveying experience in Saskatchewan.
  • Experience assisting with completing surveys for subdivision, right of way, topographic, real property reports and boundary staking surveys, and geodetic control networks.
  • Strong planning and organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and accountability.
  • Commitment to development and continual learning.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and procedures.
  • Proven ethics and integrity.
  • Valid driver's license and computer literacy (MS Office, Adobe, and program tools).

Responsibilities

  • Assist with field surveys for development of survey plans.
  • Complete expense reports and timesheets.
  • Operate and maintain equipment (ATV, GPS, Total Station).
  • Follow company rules and safety manual requirements.
  • Perform other duties as required; interact with management, colleagues, clients, and government personnel.
  • Travel as required; overtime may apply.
  • Work outdoors and handle heavy loads.

Job description

3 month contract. Possibility of advancement to full-time permanent following contract

Required Competencies
  • Surveying experience in Saskatchewan
  • Experience assisting with completing surveys for:
    • Subdivision Surveys
    • Right of Way Surveys (Feature Plans, Highway/Road Plans)
    • Topographic Surveys
    • Real Property Reports and Boundary Staking Surveys
    • Geodetic Control Network Surveys
  • Planning and Organization skills
  • Team Work
  • Communication (written and verbal),
  • Accountability and Dependability, and the ability to follow directions
  • Development and Continual Learning
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and procedures.

Job Duties
