Purpose of the job

To supervise all aspects of shipping, receiving, warehousing, logistics, and inventory control. Provide support and coordination pertaining to material distribution and continuously promote & support safe practices.

Key responsibilities

1. Communication & customer service, both inter-departmentally and externally.
2. Collaborative leadership and building relationships.
3. Tactical role focused on execution & holding others accountable.
4. Manage department & business results, and coach/develop team members.
5. Problem-solving, facilitating solutions, driving value & making decisions. Role model Safety and Continuous Improvement.

Qualifications & Functional Knowledge

Education

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Specialized or cross-functional knowledge / relevant experience required by the position/role

• Ideally operational and/or maintenance knowledge/experience.
• Maximo & SAP exposure would be a great asset.
• Supply Chain related certification would be an asset.
• Continuous Improvement (CI) experience would be beneficial.
