Position Summary The Team Lead’s responsibility is to deliver energy saving opportunities by managing and coaching a team of Energy Advisors. They support Energy Advisors in delivering energy savings projects by providing feedback, developing potential, and resolving obstacles. The role involves analyzing outreach strategies and collaborating with other leads to support the success of the VCx Program.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Program Delivery
  2. Coach and support Energy Advisors to meet savings goals, help overcome obstacles, and optimize engagement strategies.
  3. Review monthly performance with the Program Manager, ensure accurate tracking, and address issues affecting savings.
  4. Diagnose unmet goals, propose solutions, and plan improvements.

Customer Engagement Improvement

  • Propose tools and resources for team success.
  • Leverage outreach data to improve customer communication and responses.

Strength-Based Management and Coaching

  • Recognize and develop individual strengths, motivate, and create growth opportunities.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, recognition, and coaching.
  • Set clear expectations, foster team engagement, and organize team activities.

Record Management

  • Manage the utility pipeline and ensure records are accurate.
  • Support Salesforce and outreach tools, ensure prospecting and follow-up activities are on track.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years managing and motivating teams, designing outreach strategies, and CRM management.
  • Experience as a Power TakeOff Energy Advisor or similar, with mentorship and accountability in goal achievement.
  • Certifications in energy management or efficiency preferred.
  • Strong customer service, sales coaching, and performance management skills.
  • Motivated to help others grow, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Leadership qualities aligned with Power TakeOff’s values: supportive, innovative, impactful.

Location & Travel

Remote position, with preferred residence near Denver, CO or Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. No travel expected; company covers travel expenses if needed.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $60,000 - $85,000 USD/year, depending on experience. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plans, professional development, paid time off, and company holidays.
