Job summary

Subway Windsor is seeking a Supervisor to lead daily operations, ensure great guest experiences, and maintain restaurant standards from food preparation to service.

You will cascade training, schedule and supervise staff, manage inventory, and ensure equipment is in good working order while completing required paperwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of restaurant experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and coordinate shifts to ensure smooth service.
• Provide excellent guest experience and ensure food quality and safety.
• Manage inventory and assist with paperwork as needed.

Job description

As part of the Subway® Team, you as a Supervisor will focus on six main things:

• Ensuring that great food is prepared & served

• Controlling inventory
• Scheduling and supervising staff

In addition to the role of a typical Sandwich Artist®, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Cascading training to Sandwich Artists™ on existing and new responsibilities
• Scheduling and supervising staff
• Practicing inventory control standards
• Ensuring equipment is in proper working order during shift
• Completing paperwork as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience as in a restaurant environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Communication and organizational skills

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
