Job summary

Subway is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will ensure food is prepared and served to standard, manage inventory, and maintain a clean, functional store environment.

You will train Sandwich Artists, schedule staff, and supervise shifts, while focusing on teamwork, communication, and operational efficiency. This role offers Full Time/Part Time options and shift flexibility depending on location.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant experience required
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest experience and ensure quality food preparation
• Schedule and supervise staff and cascade training to team members
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper operation of restaurant equipment

PREREQUISITES

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Communication and organizational skills

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
