Job summary

Subway is seeking a Shift Manager to focus on guest experience, food quality and restaurant upkeep in a fast-paced environment. You will help ensure clean, functional operations, manage inventory and supervise staff during shifts.

Typical duties include cascading training to Sandwich Artists, scheduling, and ensuring equipment works properly. This role supports a team-based dining experience and professional growth within the Subway brand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

PREREQUISITES

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Communication and organizational skills

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
