Subway is seeking a Shift Manager/Team Member to lead daily operations in a busy restaurant environment. You will ensure guest satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and safety while supervising staff and managing inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a restaurant environment.
• Ability to operate the POS system and lift 10–30 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest experience and ensure food quality.
• Keep the restaurant clean, functional and inviting.
• Schedule and supervise staff and cascade training.
• Control inventory and ensure proper stock levels.
• Operate POS system and complete administrative tasks as needed.

• Cascading training to Sandwich Artists™ on existing and new responsibilities

• Practicing inventory control standards
• Ensuring equipment is in proper working order during shift
• Completing paperwork as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
