Job summary

Value Buds is seeking a motivated Store Supervisor to support daily retail operations and lead by example on the sales floor in our cannabis stores. This role is ideal for someone with retail leadership experience who enjoys coaching teams, delivering great customer experiences, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

You'll oversee service, product education, merchandising, inventory, and compliance with cannabis regulations, while providing coaching and scheduling support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or customer service experience.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Must hold cannabis selling certifications (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, CanSell).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service and product education
• Support and guide team members during shifts
• Act as point of contact in absence of management
• Assist with product launches, promotions, and merchandising

What You'll Do

• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, ID verification, and OH&S standards

About You

• 2+ years of retail or customer service experience
• Supervisory or leadership experience (preferred)
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
• Must hold certification to sell cannabis (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, CanSell)
• Must be at least 18 or 19 years old (based on provincial requirements)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check
