Job summary

Island Lake Lodge is seeking a Breakfast Cook for our winter season (Dec–Apr) with potential to continue into summer. You will lead breakfast and baking prep to Head Chef standards, delivering consistent, high-quality dishes with strong presentation while upholding food safety and company policies.

Ideal candidates show a solid culinary foundation, strong work ethic, and a proactive approach. Early starts and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen are essential.

Qualifications

• Culinary training or certification is an asset.
• Food Safe certification is an asset.
• Punctual and able to start early.

Responsibilities

• Execute breakfast and baking prep to Head Chef standards.
• Deliver consistent, high-quality food with strong presentation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, culinary standards, and company policies.
• Bring ideas, try new techniques, and keep things fresh.
• Keep your station clean, organized, and dialed in.
