Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in North Vancouver, BC is seeking a Cook to prepare meals per standardized recipes, ensure quality and presentation, follow dietary requirements, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen that supports resident well-being. You will record production quantities and temperatures, stock and rotate food, assist dining service, and help lead food production in the absence of leadership.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
