Job summary

Banff Caribou Properties Ltd. is seeking a motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team, preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner for in-house guests and room service.

You’ll set up stations, cook safely, follow recipes, and ensure timely production with attention to dietary needs. You should be flexible for weekends and holidays, physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, and able to understand English instructions.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
• Line cook experience is an asset but not required, willing to learn.
• Ability to understand oral and written instructions in English.
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Set up your station according to restaurant guidelines.
• Prepare food items safely, efficiently, and according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure timely production of dishes, including for guests with dietary restrictions.
• Restock ingredients and supplies throughout your shift.
• Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and storage areas.
• Follow all health and safety policies, reporting hazards or injuries immediately.
• Collaborate with the team to meet guest and business needs.
