Job summary

SLR Consulting (Americas) is seeking a seasoned Talent Acquisition professional based in Ontario to lead full-cycle recruitment across Canada and the US. You will partner with hiring managers, source top talent, and guide offers and compensation discussions within a dynamic, growth-focused team.

You’ll support salary benchmarking, keep up with legislation, and help implement HRIS systems like Workday, while collaborating with global teams to strengthen our talent pipeline.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience.
• 2+ years recruiting in the environmental services/engineering/mining industries.
• Understanding of the national recruitment landscape across Canada and the US.
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Experience with Workday is an asset.
• Proficiency in Spanish is a significant asset.
• Based in Ontario with flexible work options.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the business and become a trusted advisor to hiring managers.
• Provide recruitment services across multiple service lines and technical disciplines.
• Utilize various networks and online platforms to engage and secure candidates.
• Assist with offer negotiations and provide compensation advice.
• Keep up to date with employment legislation relevant to recruitment across Canada.
• Assist with salary benchmarking and identifying/reporting market trends.
• Assist with talent sourcing strategies and plans to increase the pipeline of talent.
• Support projects and process improvements with the global Talent Acquisition team.
• Assist with implementation of new HRIS system (Workday).
