Job summary

McGill University’s School of Continuing Studies seeks a Business Development and Partnerships Officer to support the Strategic Partnership Unit’s objectives. You will identify opportunities, prepare proposals, manage budgets, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver custom learning solutions while keeping abreast of industry trends and funding programs.

The role requires bilingual English/French communication, strong project management, and experience in corporate learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years related experience.
• Bilingual English and French; English daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Identify business development opportunities and respond to custom learning requests.
• Develop proposals, budgets, and service agreements with internal teams.
• Coordinate implementation of approved corporate training initiatives for clients.
• Contribute to SPU’s business development pipeline by identifying prospects and tracking leads.
• Maintain client relationships through follow-ups and feedback assessments.
• Support back-office systems to strengthen efficiency, reporting and project management.
• Monitor labour market trends, government funding programs, and educational technologies.
• Refine SCS processes for custom learning solutions development and delivery.
• Perform other activities to support SPU operations as needed.
