Job summary

FGF Brands in Canada is seeking a Production Scheduler to support developing, maintaining, analysing, and coordinating the Plant Production Schedule. You will report to the Production Planning Leader and Site Leader and work with Operations to optimize line output.

Key duties include creating weekly and daily schedules, reviewing MRP/ERP data, monitoring material availability, and communicating changes to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in production and raw materials planning is an asset.
• Excellent analytical skills and understanding of inventory planning fundamentals.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Experience with Planning (MRP)/ERP systems is desirable.
• Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent.
• Excellent time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop weekly and daily production schedules for manufacturing lines following the Master Planning process.
• Analyze material requirements plans and release orders for locally purchased materials; maintain inventory at planned levels.
• Monitor shelf life of purchased materials and ensure consumption before expiry.
• Review production variance reports to ensure plans meet customer demand and minimize obsolescence.
• Communicate production schedules and changes to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Cross-train with other Production Planners/Schedulers to cover multiple facilities.
