Job summary

Parkland Corporation in Burnaby, Canada, is seeking a Plant Maintenance Support Specialist to administer SAP PM and manage equipment master data, PM plans, and maintenance scheduling. You will collaborate with Refinery, Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, and IT teams to ensure accurate planning, documentation, and reporting of maintenance activities.

The role requires a SAP PM background, inventory management experience, and the ability to read PFDs and P&IDs, with a focus on data quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least two years of business systems setup and reporting experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Plant Maintenance and/or Inventory Management (PM, work orders, inventory transactions).
• Ability to read Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and P&ID.

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert for SAP PM.
• Create, update, and maintain equipment master records, functional locations, bills of material in SAP.
• Maintain preventive maintenance plans, inspection schedules, task lists, measuring points, and maintenance strategies.
• Review equipment and maintenance data for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and compliance with standards.
• Troubleshoot SAP, mobile app, tablet, connectivity, and work-order processing issues; escalate complex problems.
• Analyze work processes and system data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for standardization or automation.
• Train and assist employees and contractors in SAP and mobile maintenance tools.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, IT, Supply Chain, and other functions to resolve issues and maintain records.
• Support system implementations, upgrades, testing, and integrations involving SAP Plant Maintenance.
