Job summary

Traffix is seeking an experienced Account Manager for a 15-month contract in Canada. You will nurture existing customer relationships and oversee day-to-day account operations within a fast-paced logistics environment.

The role emphasizes customer service, issue resolution, and proactive problem-solving, with responsibilities spanning order processing, quoting, paperwork management, and KPI adherence across shipments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Account Manager at a 3PL.
• Experience working with freight forwarders in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and a sales mentality.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees, carriers, drivers, and customers.
• Strong knowledge of North American trucking regulations and geography.
• Able to analyze potential problems and proactively address to minimize impact on the customer.
• Effective planning and organization with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Team player who can work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop professional relationships with assigned TRAFFIX customers.
• Provide status updates to customers and/or sales when requested.
• Track shipment pickup, in-transit updates, and deliveries with Customer Service.
• Manage in-transit delays to minimize impact on the customer.
• Collaborate with the TRAFFIX Bond Team when TRAFFIX Continuous Bond is in use.
• Proactively identify potential problems and provide solutions.
• Manage customer complaints and provide resolutions.
• Maintain all related filing and record-keeping.
