Job summary

SYSTRA Canada is seeking a Lead Scheduler to join our Toronto program team. You will develop and manage schedules, coordinate with project teams and external stakeholders, and drive planning strategies for major infrastructure projects.

The role reports to the Head of Planning and requires a strong background in civil engineering and railway planning, with a track record in sequencing, logistics, and effective resource management.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 5+ years planning and staging experience on large infra projects.
• Strong knowledge of sequencing, logistics and resource management.
• Familiar with safety regulations and environmental considerations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement project planning and delivery strategies.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders on sequencing and resources.
• Conduct feasibility studies and staging impact assessments.
• Develop schedules, phasing plans, and mitigation measures.
• Attend planning meetings to ensure effective planning.
• Monitor and update planning as requirements change.
