Job summary

Alstom in Toronto, Canada is seeking a Planning Manager to oversee the development and maintenance of project schedules, coordinating with construction, testing, and commissioning teams to ensure timely delivery.

You will report to project leadership, liaise with engineering, sourcing, and quality teams, and mentor planning personnel to uplift scheduling practices across international projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years in project planning, scheduling, or similar roles.
• Experience on complex design-build projects with industrial context.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS-Project, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules and baselines.
• Coordinate with construction, testing & commissioning teams for alignment.
• Provide schedule reports and progress updates to customers and partners.
• Lead time-management processes and promote best practices.
• Mentor planning teams to enhance project planning skills.
