Job summary

SYSTRA Canada is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee technical design, engineering assurance, and risk management across Civil and Station projects. You will lead design reviews, implement assurance procedures, and deconflict complex interfaces while aligning with the Rail Corridor goals.

You will manage stakeholders across PDTs, support SRP/ORP/SSA submissions, and ensure safety, quality, and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary rail transit projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate clearly to clients and senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design reviews and engineering assurance across Civil and Station projects.
• Manage CMREA requirements and design risk management.
• Coordinate interfaces across PDTs (Civils, Stations, Track, Rail Systems).
• Ensure compliance with Metrolinx standards and regulations; support safety and RAMS processes.
• Prepare project management plans and deployment strategies; document actions and decisions.
