Job summary

Technica Mining is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner based in Saskatoon to lead the founding Saskatchewan workforce, establish HR practices, and become the go-to advisor for regional leadership. You will shape the people foundation for a growing operation with strong support from the HR Head Office.

The role includes building recruitment pipelines, implementing policies, and driving a high-performance culture across Western Canada with travel to project sites and Technica HQ as needed.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with recruitment and employee relations or HR generalist work.
• CPHR designation (or equivalent such as CHRL) or actively pursuing it.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment and onboarding for Saskatchewan founding workforce across trades, crews and supervisors.
• Design and execute regional talent attraction strategies with post-secondary institutions and agencies.
• Roll out HR policies, processes and systems compliant with Saskatchewan employment law.
• Partner with Area Manager on regional structure and organizational design.
• Establish accurate regional data and reporting from day one (headcount, turnover, vacancies).
• Provide candid HR advice to regional leadership and manage employee relations and investigations.
