Job summary

Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran is hiring a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our McIlvenna Bay team from our Saskatoon head office. This full-time role includes occasional travel to the McIlvenna Bay Mine site and local communities, working Monday to Friday.

You will partner with leaders to align people strategies with business objectives and foster a respectful, inclusive, high-performing workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a similar role in mining or industrial sectors.
• Experience supporting organizational change, workforce planning and development.
• Experience with Indigenous communities or community workforce initiatives is an asset.
• Strong HR functions knowledge including workforce planning, talent management, organizational development and leadership support.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build relationships at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to align people strategies with objectives.
• Advise on HR policies, employment law, performance management and employee relations.
• Support organizational design, workforce planning and optimization.
• Collaborate with Indigenous Relations and community stakeholders on workforce development.
• Coach leaders on engagement, leadership effectiveness and culture.
• Lead workplace investigations and follow-through on action items.
• Facilitate meetings with leaders, employees and stakeholders to address workplace matters.
• Support compensation reviews, onboarding, training and change management.
• Monitor HR trends and maintain confidential employee records.
