Qualifications

• Exposure to HR practices through coursework, internships, or student involvement.

Responsibilities

• Support full staffing processes: recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding for assigned areas.
• Serve as first point of contact for employee questions; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Assist line managers with day-to-day HR issues and identify patterns for solutions.
• Learn local, provincial, and federal employment law through casework and guidance.
• Apply company HR policies, compensation structures, and benefit programs.
• Handle administrative tasks tied to staffing changes (leaves, resignations, terminations).
• Contribute to training program rollouts and design opportunities as experience grows.
