Job summary

CSS White Cap Supply Canada Inc is seeking an HR leader to implement comprehensive HR programs and policies across staffing, compensation, benefits, associate relations, and learning.

You will collect and analyze HR data, partner with leadership, manage performance improvement, and ensure smooth integration of HR practices during acquisitions, while guiding the organization through complex workforce initiatives.

Qualifications

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
• Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field.
• Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Staffing Department on business employment needs, including recruiting for functional areas of the business.
• Work with business leadership and department management on development and facilitation of individual and divisional performance improvement.
• Responsible for effective integration of HR policies and procedures during Acquisitions.
• Build internal partnerships to aid in resolution of associate relations issues.
• Embrace and communicate vision of the organization and group to align workforce.
• Develop and implement performance management plans with business leadership.
• Assess and deliver training and development to limit legal exposure.
• Support HR policies within the business by acting as the primary point of contact between associates and management.
• Solutions require analysis and investigation.
• Achieve planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience.
• Manage a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervise support staff.
