Job summary

Publicis Canada is seeking an HR Manager to lead talent programs and provide strategic guidance to internal client teams. Reporting to the CTO with a dotted line to the HR Director, you will drive talent initiatives across diverse client groups.

Ideal candidates have 6–8 years in HR, strong HRIS knowledge (SAP, Workday), and a proven ability to partner with Finance, Resource Management and Talent Acquisition while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Education: University Degree or Community college diploma in HR Management or equivalent.
• Experience: 6-8 years in the HR field in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of HRIS data tools (SAP, Workday).
• Knowledge of general HR practices, policies and employment legislation.
• Approachability, confidentiality and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Support CTO and HR Director with execution of broader Talent strategies.
• Deliver strategic Talent consulting to internal client teams with a focus on staff planning and development.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of value-added Talent programs such as performance management.
• Oversee junior–midlevel employee relations matters and investigations to minimize organizational risk.
• Build effective relationships and provide excellent client service by ensuring a positive employee experience.
• Help drive people initiatives focusing on retention, engagement, recognition and talent management.
• Assist with miscellaneous projects and social activities.
• Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
