Job summary

Bimbo Canada is seeking a Business Development Manager - Food Service in Etobicoke to drive profitable growth by identifying and converting new opportunities in the food service sector. This role emphasizes strategic leadership, partnership development, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve revenue objectives.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 5+ years in sales within DSD/CPG, with 3 years in Food Service considered a strong asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales or related discipline.
• Minimum of five years of sales experience in a DSD environment or within the CPG industry.
• Three years of experience managing Food Service is a strong asset.
• Strong business and financial acumen with profitability drivers.
• Excellent communication and multi-project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and profitability objectives for Canada and for each customer within the portfolio.
• Manage and develop customer accounts by building strong business relationships and driving new sales opportunities.
• Manage customer P&Ls, including monitoring KPIs such as volume, pricing and financial performance.
• Support regional and national strategies in collaboration with Sr Manager-Food Service.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing to execute initiatives.
