Job summary

Bimbo Canada is seeking a Market Sales Leader to drive store-level sales execution across DSD and warehouse portfolios. You will be the trusted advisor for store decision makers, converting distribution, space, and display opportunities into sustainable volume growth.

The role emphasizes high-value selling (~90% of time) using a presell–sell–postsell model, with a focus on relationships, in-store execution, and KPI-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Preferred post-secondary education and related experience
• 1-3 years’ sales experience, preferably in a CPG and/or Direct Sales Delivery (DSD) environment
• Demonstrated people and business growth results
• Developed effective sales management accountability system
• Built commitment and teamwork while maintaining a creative and positive work environment
• Proficient Technology and Computer skills: proficient at Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Frequent Walking
• May require lifting up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships that unlock selling opportunities through incremental sales, displays, and distribution gains across all retail channels.
• Leverage established dashboards and other resources to identify selling opportunities and set clear objectives prior to every customer visit.
• Execute LTO, innovation, and other program priorities following the Display Pre-Sell, Sell, and Post-Sell operating model on every visit.
• Deliver Perfect Store standards — planograms, shelving, displays, freshness, availability, and program compliance — including support for warehouse-distributed products.
• Prioritize territory and planning tools using customer potential, data, and commercial priorities to execute the prescribed call cycle consistently across assigned accounts.
• Data & Continuous Improvement: Maintain accurate real time store information and execution data in Encompass, using KPI results to identify and correct gaps.
