Job summary

Infosys in Canada is hiring a Sales Director to focus on hunting and implement proactive New Business Development activities across our Energy, Resources, Utilities and Professional Services practice in Canada. The Senior Sales Director will grow net new business and build a strategic enterprise account pipeline, understanding market dynamics to craft effective sales strategies with project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; 3 years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
• 7+ years of sales experience in service industry.
• Understanding of Global Delivery Model (offshore/outsourcing) and large deal experience.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant new business development experience selling IT services.
• Track record of interacting and building relationship with CXOs of leading organizations.
• Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentation.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and close new deals in the energy, oil and gas, resources domain
• Be the face of Infosys to the market and help position Infosys as an industry leader and trusted advisor
• Leverage the Infosys ecosystem of capabilities across technology practices, industry verticals and service lines to develop solutions that address the client’s business problems
• Ground-breaking force behind developing platform solutions specifically geared energy and natural resources accounts
