Job summary

Securian Canada in Montreal, QC seeks a Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO & CFO. This senior partner supports the leadership team, manages priorities, confidentiality and sensitive information with discretion, and coordinates Board/ELT activities with sound judgment.

The role requires 10+ years of executive support, a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), superb communication, autonomy, and mastery of Microsoft 365 and AI-enabled tools. Hybrid work, approx.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience providing high-level executive support.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with sound judgment.
• Autonomy, initiative, and discretion in handling sensitive matters.
• Confidentiality and professionalism with Board-level stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills and organizational ability; C-suite exposure.

Responsibilities

• Triage and prioritize CEO/CFO inboxes and calls; draft correspondence.
• Manage complex calendars across time zones; coordinate meetings.
• Act as liaison between executives, SLT, and external stakeholders.
• Prepare briefing materials, summaries, agendas, and presentations.
• Track actions and follow-ups; drive accountability at ELT/Board level.
• Coordinate Board and committee support, including packs and minutes.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and related materials.
• Utilize Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI tools to streamline workflows.
