Job summary

National Bank of Canada is seeking an Account Manager, Business Services Deposit to grow and manage a portfolio of commercial clients in Ottawa. You will identify opportunities, expand the client base and drive sustainable deposit growth while strengthening relationships and portfolio revenues.

You will tailor financial strategies using NB's products and services to meet clients' objectives, adapt solutions to evolving needs, and ensure profitability within risk guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four to eight years of experience in business development and sales within the financial services industry.
• University Certificate with 8 years of experience or Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years of experience or Master’s Degree with 4 years of experience.
• Experience in sales and business development.
• Experience analyzing financial statements.
• Experience in commercial lending and credit analysis.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop business opportunities within your market; expand the commercial client base and implement strategies for deposit growth and client revenue.
• Propose financial strategies using a mix of the Bank’s products and services to meet clients’ objectives.
• Adapt and optimize financial solutions and advisory approach to evolving client needs.
• Negotiate terms with clients while ensuring risk management standards and profitability targets.
• Support the Regional Vice-President, Business Services, in achieving objectives.
• Collaborate with the Director, Financing Solutions and participate in networking activities.
• Identify inherent sector risks.
