Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, commerce or business administration.
5+ years in business development with a strong local network.
Ability to identify business issues and needs for entrepreneurs.
Strong client service and accurate advice.
Team-oriented, structured, and able to build lasting relationships.
Excellent negotiation skills and results-oriented.
Bilingual French and English is an asset.

Responsibilities

Meet with entrepreneurs to identify issues and offer appropriate BDC solutions.
Execute action plan to grow and retain clients and build pipeline.
Analyze, negotiate and present financing proposals with credit judgement.
Network with associations and chambers to develop new client relationships.
