Job summary

XTL TRANSPORT INC. is seeking a Carrier Logistics Planner to interact with partner carriers and ensure excellent service and capacity while achieving margin objectives. Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The role involves expanding our carrier network, maintaining performance feedback, and negotiating rates to meet corporate margins. Qualifications include 1–2 years in transportation/logistics, strong communication and negotiation skills, and knowledge of North American geography.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of transportation/logistics experience or related post-secondary education.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Bilingual English/French is an asset.
• Knowledge of North American geography.
• Proficiency with computer systems; AS400 and Lotus preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carrier Relations: Develop and expand our carrier partner network to meet compliance standards and business requirements.
• Corporate Responsibilities: Provide market rate information and participate in monthly carrier meetings.
• Measurement and Control Responsibilities: Maintain data integrity and verify carrier information before finalizing orders.
• Additional Responsibilities: Support and provide backup coverage for team members and follow workflows.
