Job summary

xtltransportlogistics seeks a Logistics Liaison to coordinate with carriers and dispatchers, ensuring visibility and service. You will identify and resolve in-transit issues, communicating with stakeholders to choose best actions quickly.

Primary duties include carrier relationship management, shipment updates in the TMS, data integrity checks, and billing accessorial charges in a fast-paced environment that values LEAD WITH GRACE.

Responsibilities

• Carrier Relations: grow and develop strong carrier relationships.
• Monitor carrier performance and provide feedback to the Carrier Logistic Planner.
• Proactive communication with carriers to ensure shipments are on schedule.
• Trace status of shipments and report back to Shipper Logistics Planner.
• Handle initial information on loss/damage and shortages.
• Customer Relations / Reporting: update TMS shipment updates, conduct EDI audits, reconcile yard checks, track, report and bill accessorial charges.

Job Summary

Interact with carriers / dispatchers to ensure the highest level of visibility and service. In doing so the JLP needs to identify, address, and resolve all in transit issues. Timely communication with all relevant stakeholders to determine the best course of action in the shortest amount of time is fundamental.

Responsibilities/ Tasks

1. Carrier Relations:
   • Grow & develop strong carrier relationships
   • Monitor and provide feedback on carrier overall performance to the Carrier Logistic Planner
   • Proactive communication with carriers to ensure shipments are being executed as scheduled
   • Trace status of shipments and provide information back to Shipper Logistics Planner as needed
   • Handle initial information on loss/damage and shortage claims on shipments
2. Customer Relations / Reporting:
   • Complete TMS shipment updates
   • Conduct EDI audits
   • Update / Reconcile yard checks
   • Book Lumpers
   • Track, report and bill accessorial charges
3. Corporate Responsibilities:
