Proline Management Ltd. on Vancouver Island invites you to a hands-on training role in Strata Property Management.

You’ll learn directly from licensed property managers, build essential skills, and carry out coordinating tasks across maintenance, budgeting, and stakeholder communications. During licensing, you’ll participate in on-call rotations and field visits to sites from Campbell River to Victoria, with minimal travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or a related field
• Preference for candidates with 3+ years of direct experience in property management, project management or a similar role
• Eligible to obtain a BC Strata Property Management license
• Requires valid Class 5 driver’s licence and access to a reliable personal vehicle
• Successful completion of a criminal record check

Responsibilities

• Learn all aspects of property management alongside licensed Property Managers
• Assist with obtaining quotes, scheduling maintenance, and coordinating jobs with tradespeople
• Attend strata council meetings and visit buildings to gain hands-on experience with building systems
• Help organize property management processes to ensure top-notch care for the portfolio
• Participate in a shared on-call rotation after licensing to manage emergencies

Your Day-to-Day Adventure

While taking your licensing course, you’ll:

• Work directly alongside licensed Property Managers to learn all aspects of property management.
• Assist with obtaining quotes, scheduling maintenance, and coordinating jobs with tradespeople.
• Attend strata council meetings, visit buildings, and get hands‑on experience with building systems.
• Help organize property management processes to ensure top‑notch care for our portfolio.
• Once licensed, participate in a shared on‑call rotation, scheduled in one‑week increments, to calmly manage emergencies and identify effective solutions as situations arise.
• This position is based out of our beautiful head office, located in Westshore.
• Take on other duties as assigned, because “everything’s fair game” is part of the fun.

Once licensed, you’ll step into a full‑fledged Strata Property Manager role, overseeing meetings, budgets, maintenance, and relationships. Your portfolio could include properties from Campbell River to Victoria, requiring minimal travel - typically for annual general meetings, but could also be for additional meetings depending on the property.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or a related field; preference will be given to candidates with 3+ years of direct experience in property management, project management or a similar construction industry role.
• Excellent typing and computer skills (Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Eligible to obtain a BC Strata Property Management license.
• This position requires a valid Class 5 driver’s licence and access to a reliable personal vehicle, as travel to assigned sites using your own vehicle is an essential requirement of the role.
• Successful completion of a criminal record check.
